Olaf Walter

In 1998 Olaf made the switch to the printing industry by starting a US subsidiary of a German label company who globally supplied the automotive and electronic industries, implementing ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949 quality systems. Having used MPRINT equipment in his plant, he joined MPRINT, LLC from its beginnings in 2009 as the president of its US location in North Carolina, serving North and South America. As a classically trained mechanical engineer he continuously applies his extensive knowledge of custom machinery and printing technology to the benefit of our customers.

Sascha Zapf

Sascha Zapf has been at home in the graphic arts industry for more than 30 years.

After training as an offset printer, Sascha Zapf initially worked for many years as a printer, shift supervisor and production manager in the web offset and flexo printing sector. During this time, he completed further training to become an Bachelor Proffesional of Print Media (CCI). He later switched to the printing ink industry and was responsible for technical service and training in the flexo UV sector.

Olaf Walter

Olaf Walter grew up in Germany and attended the University of Stuttgart’s Mechanical Engineering program graduating with a MSc in Manufacturing Engineering. After college he moved to the US and, having grown up and worked for over 14 years in his family’s machine tool company, started his own consulting firm, first focusing on technology consulting for small and midsized companies, but soon shifting to help foreign manufacturing companies establish US subsidiaries. Since then, Olaf has started over 25 companies in the US for his clients. In 1998 he decided to permanently run one of his German customers US branch, which was a label printing company serving mostly the automotive and electronics industries. After utilizing one of MPRINT’s digital printing machines to print variable information labels, he made the switch to MPRINT in 2009 and started MPRINT, LLC. His foremost goal is to help his customers succeed.

Sascha Zapf

Sascha Zapf joined the hubergroup in 2015 via the position of Production Manager at Sleever Internation, where he initially worked as Technical Trainer UV and then as Head of Application UV Flexo until the beginning of 2024.

Since April 2024, Sascha Zapf has been strengthening the MPRINT team as Sales Manager Subsidiaries & OEM International and thus promoting our growth course.
